Arrival and departure: for a period of one week or several weeks, you can enter the apartement the Friday from 05° pm clock and leave the apartment the Friday at 11° clock am. Reservation and payment: a reservation is only valid after paying 50% on the total sum,(hiring and guarantee). Two weeks before arrival has the rest of the money to be paid. Payment has to be by means of transfer on account number. Cancellation: By cancellation the advance money will not be returned, it will be used for the hirers costs. Guarantee: also to the tenant a guarantee is asked of 150 Euro, this will be paid back after the tenant has left, this will be used for any damage if necessary. Under normal circumstances the guarantee will be paid back within 14 days after stay. What to take along: The tenant needs only to bring towels and bed linen. (double bed: 140 x 200, single bed: 90 x 200). In the bedroom coverlets and cushions are foreseen as well as coat-hangers. The kitchen is completely fitted out with fridge – freezer, cooker, microwave, coffee machine, cutlery, crockery, glasses, pots, pans, … in fact everything is present. Kitchen: The dishes must be done by the tenant himself. If there is dirty kitchen utensils left behind in the apartment the extra costs for cleaning will be kept out of the guarantee! Household rubbish: Closed official dust binbags of the city Oostende can be placed in the refuse room (beside the lift on the first floor) These green dirt pockets of the city are obtain Oostende by iece in the shop beside the apartment (at early product Achiel) tot € 0.7 for a small pocket and € 1.00 for a large pocket! Glass is deposed in the glass container on the corner of the Nieuwstraat and the Visserskaai (at the first staircase, 50m from the apartment). When rubbish is left behind in the amartment an amount will be deducted out of the guarantee for clearing it up! Household refuse: The household rubbish is picked up normally on Monday and has to be put outside the evening before from 19h pm. See also the collectorcalender in the refuse room! To clean: The apartment must be cleaned by the tenant. Pay attention, however, when the apartment is not cleaned the guarantee will be kept. It is forbidden to hang anything outside of the apartment (towels or other things) Entrance hall door (connecting door): This must be closed with the key as from 22h in the evening. Key: One can take away the key after appointment. House animals: House animals are not allowed on the apartment! To park: One can park the carriage paying on the parking of the my square or in the underground parking of the visserskaai. There can however for free be parked on the borderparking (at Maria Hendrikapark) where one can take the centre bus (all 10 min) for € 0.50 by person. This bus stops on a couple minutes walks of the apartment (halte centre). See for further information to the site www.oostende .be Location: the apartment himself is on the corner of the Nieuwstraat and the captain street in Oostende above the bicycle shop. The entrance of the apartment is in the Schippersstraat. When one goes by means of the Nieuwstraat direction yacht-basin one comes to “the fish staircase”, left one goes to the “small range” and to the sea, right lies the train station and the Mercator. One goes from the apartment direction my square, weapon square then one comes in the shop streets (Kappellestraat and Vlaanderenstraat) All this on a couple minutes walks! Trade matter: there are several baker shops, a butcher, vegetable shop and cheese dairy in the same street, there is also a hypermarket beside the apartment. There is Delhaize hypermarket at the Mercator. Market: The Thursday morning is there market on the my square, near the apartment.
